YES! King Jesus is coming back! First to remove all born-again believers in HIm from Earth for the duration of the Great Tribulation. Thank You, Heavenly Father, for that Blessed Hope!
Thank you, Kristi, for proclaiming the near return of King Jesus! The Blessed Hope of the Church!
Then at the end of the Great Tribulaton, He will come back for Judgment and to establish His thousand-year Kigdom on Earth:
“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” (Jude 1:14-15)
There will be resistance: “These [the ten kings of the antiChrist’s Tribulation government] shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” (Revelation 17:14)
And finally, when all is finished, the New Heavens and the New Earth:
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful!’ ” (Revelation 21:3-5)

Kristi, this is especially for you. It’s from Revelation. King Jesus is speaking to those who were part of “the faithful church”, who “have little strength”. There is a profusion of promises to you! I thought of you as I read those words, “little strength”, and I want to encourage you with the message from King Jesus. I am sure you’ve read it before. I just wanted to let you know that tonight, I think this is a personal message to you from King Jesus Himself:
“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.” (Revelation 3:8-12)
Jesus has give you wonderful promises there, Kristi. Rejoice! But more important than the promises is Jesus’ declaration that He loves y, and when we stand in God’s Kingdom, King Jesus Jesus will make certain that everyone knows it, especially any who have troubled you.

Given the hatred of Jews in this time, I want to defend them from one of the many false charges against them: that the Jews killed Jesus. THEY DID NOT! Their leaders used political blackmail to coerce Pilate into allowing Jesus’ crucifixion. But that was not the desire of most of the Jewish people, and the Scripture documents that:
“And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.” (Luke 22:2) They were searching for a way to get Jesus alone and have Him killed before the Jewish public coud stop them!
“And he [Judas] promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.” (Luke 22:6)
“And they [the pharisees] sought to lay hold on him [Jesus] but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.” (Mark 12:12)
This popularity even extended to the apostles after King Jesus had been resurrected and ascended back to Heaven. Acts chapter 5 tells the full story: after a massive public healing…
“There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.” (5:16)
.. and the arrest of the apostles, and their miraculous deliverance from jail by the angel of the Lord (vs 19-20) “the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests” ordered the aposltes bright back to them to warn them to stop preaching in the name of Jesus”, BUT…
“Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.”
IT WAS NOT “THE JEWS” who ordered Jesus crucified. Claiming that it was is like blaming all of America for slavery. The Civil War proved that not all Americans approved of slavery. The pharisees’ fear of the people proves that the majority of the Jewish people DID NOT want Jesus crucified.
After the miraculous feeding of the five thousand:
“Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.” (John 6:14-15)
Granted, they wanted Him to be king for the wrong reason, but they loved Him and wanted Him to be crowned, not crucified.
If it had not been for the power of Rome, the crucifixion probably would not have happened. Even to the last minute, a massive number of Jews were in favor of Jesus:
“And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him.” (Luke 23:27)
When Jesus finally died, that multitude grieved for Him:
“And the whole crowd who came together to that sight, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned.”
Israel, Jews, no one has the right to accuse Jews of any time of the death of Jesus. We Gentiles know from experience what it’s like to have “leaders” who commit crims that we the people DO NOT WANT TO HAPPEN! All informed, truth-loving, decent Gentiles stand against anti-Semitism no matter what the excuse, and we who are genuine Christians testify to the world that the Jewish people have and had no guilt in the death of Jesus of Nazareth.
It is true that Christians (some of whom are Jews) believe that Jesus of Nazareth was AND IS the Messiah. We believe this on the basis of Messianic prophecies in the Hebrew Scriptures, which we also honor as the Word of God. If you think this impossible, I beg you to read Isaiah chapter 53 and Psalm 22. And there are other Messianic prophecies.
And we believe that the Messiah will freturn when God’s Chosen People, the Jews, believe in Him and call on God for His return.
From the Prophet Isaiah, chater 53:4-6: “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

Kristi, wow, 10K. That’s terrible! I’ll be praying they do the job right the first time and do it fast. I hope you have a place to stay while your roof is being replaced. I don’t want to get personal on the internet, so until I hear otherwise I’ll pray that the cost will not cripple your finances.
Haevnly Father, we thank You for taking care of Kristi’s windows when they were first broken. We thank You also that (if I understand correctly) there are no more ight wsinds in Troutdale now. Also that Kristi was able to get such a fast reaction from her insurance company.
Now, Heavenly Father, we lift up Kristi to Your throne and earnestly but humbly ask that You intervene as necessary on her behalf to get her roof replaced swiflty, replaced right with good quality materials, and get the insurance company to cover all costs, please. We ask these things in the holy name of Jesus, Your only begotten Son and our lord and Savior. Amen.

Kristi, you taught me something important! I owe you big-time for this! It took a while for me to stumble across it. Your avatar info says you are “Kristi 1611 AV”.
For a long time, when I looked up Bible verses on Biblegateway, I have used the King James Version as the standard for doctrinal correctness. I’ve seen that one of the translations offered on Biblegateway is the Authorized King James version. That’s the 1611 version. Long ago. I had compared a few verses between the two and they were identical, so I stuck with the plain King James Version. But today, a few minutes ago, I discovered that there is n important difference.
In at least some cases, a word in the Authorozed KJV is in italics but is not italicized in the plain KJV. Where italics are used in either, it indicates a word that is not in the Greek. The italicized word is said to be “understood”.
This morning I checked the Textus Receptus Interlinear, the most authoritative Greek New Testament, and found that Authorized KJV is correct in the instances I cite below. So thank you, Kristi! for making that part of your avatar info!
This was an especially important error on the part of the KJV, an especially important correct use of italics on the part of the 1611 Authorzed Version, because it involves two verses in John chapter 8 where Jesus was identifying Himself as God:
8:24 (partial) “…
if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” What Jesus said, as inidcated by 1611 AV using italkics, was “if ye believe not that I am, ye shall die in your sins.”
Ditto John 8:28, “Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he…”
What Jesus actually said was, “When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am …” Again, as correctly indicated by 1611 AV using italics.
This is important because in Exodus 3:14, God told Moses to tell the Israelites that “I AM” sent Moses to them. In other words, Jesus was identifyng Himself as the Great I Am, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The Pharieess didn’t pick up on that, so Jesus made it plain in John 8:58-59:
“Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”
That was when they piced up stones to stone Him – because there was NO POSSILBE MISTAKING the fact that weith those words, as in 8:24 and 8:28, King Jesus was annoiuncing to the world that He was GOD, THE God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.!!

I do help stray cats. I’ve been doing it for years, occasionally. As a result I’m now feeding 6-10 cats (depending on the weather) most of which are owned. Some people don’t seem to care about their animals. And they don’t spay or neuter.
I wish you luck but I’m at the limit of my fnances, not just because of strray cats. May God give you help. Cats have a very tough life in this world.
