The words of the Bible have authority. First, because of the Divine source infusing the human authors:
“:For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:21)
Second, because the human authors of the Bible were eyewitneses:
“For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (2 Peter 1:16-17)

THose who visit here can be assured of reading God’s true Word. Thank you, Kristi, faithful servant of the Lord!
King of Kings, Jesus, Yeshua, Redeemer, Savior, the Prince of Peace,: the only hope for every individual, is now the last hope. All other hopes have failed. But King Jesus still says,
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)
That rest may not be for our bodies while we’re in this life, but it is a rest for tour souls, because:
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:” (Romans 8:1-3)
And for those who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, these weak, vulnerable bodies we have now will be replaced with a perfect immortal body in the next life:
“So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: it is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.” (1 Corinthians 15:42-44)
