I wan Born with my Sternum Fused too my Back bone, my Birth Defect is called Pectus Excavatum. My Entire Rib cage was rebuilt and I have Stainless Steel wires that hold my rib cage together. In 1965 doctors operated on me and moved my heart and lungs and kidneys too their right places!! I have a Ruptured disk in my Neck at C5-C6, and a very bad Ruptured disk in my Lower back that is pressing on two sides of my spinal cord, with not enough room for the nerves too go through it, and its located at L4-L5!! Thank you, Kristi, for the reminder that we each live with this choice, and make it everyday in ways sometimes so mundane and minute we don’t think it matters. For a more authoritative author, how about the Holy Spirit:
“… as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (Proverbs 23:7)
Or, ”
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much…” (Luke 16:10)
If we prepare our hearts in the little things, when the “big” choices come, we will find it much easier to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading. The “little” choices are training!
