I think, Kristi, you understand how weary the apostle Paul must have felt when he wrote this:
“I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” (2nd Timothy 4:6-8)
All of us should be encouraged that we will all have at least that one crown, if we “love His appearing”. The worse this world gets, the easier it is to agree with something else Paul wrote:
“I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far…” (Philippians 1:23)
Kristi Ann, if you stay, you have a ministry here which is unique and very beautiful and comforting. When God calls you home, or the Rapture takes place, you will be welcomed into His Kingdom with loud acclamation and admiration!
Abba, again, humbly but fervently, we ask that You ease our sister Kristi’s pain and discomfort and disability significantly if not completely. She is such a gentle-hearted servant of yours, and we know it must hurt You as it does us that she has to endure so much. Even if it’s not possible in Your will to ease her affliction, Abba, we ask that You flood her soul with Your love. Let her know how very much You lover her. Give her peace in her storm and comfort, knowing that she will one day be beyond the reach of pain and disability forever. We ask all these things in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.

There’s something else that Paul had in this life, that we will be given in the next life:
“Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.” (Revelation 2:17)
Have you ever wanted to walk away from your life and start over again somewhere else, far away, where only your trusted friends and family know who you are? Have you ever fantasized about having amnesia and waking up a stranger to yourself, but with whatever wisdom you may have gathered intact, and living a better life? Forgetting all the foul-ups we’re all burdened with? Being a “new you” and being able to love your new self?
It’s waiting for you, brother, sister. The hopeless desires of this life are the reality of Heaven! HALLELUJAH!
Ezekiel wrote that if a wicked man turned from his wickedness and di what was right, “All his transgressions that he has committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him! In his righteousness that he hath done he shall live!” (Ezekiel 18:22)
If that is true of a wicked man in this life, how much more will it be true of us when we stand in King Jesus’ Kingdom, justified, sanctified, at last like Him? HALLELUJAH!
