I wan Born with my Sternum Fused too my Back bone, my Birth Defect is called Pectus Excavatum. My Entire Rib cage was rebuilt and I have Stainless Steel wires that hold my rib cage together. In 1965 doctors operated on me and moved my heart and lungs and kidneys too their right places!! I have a Ruptured disk in my Neck at C5-C6, and a very bad Ruptured disk in my Lower back that is pressing on two sides of my spinal cord, with not enough room for the nerves too go through it, and its located at L4-L5!! Something I just noticed … it’s a small thing and not directly related to the Lord … In the video song “God Hath Commanded the Light” there’s a brief shot of a cheetah trying to bring down a young zebra. The mother is running beside the fola, and she ionstantly changes course and goes for the cheetah with teeth and hooves flailing.
That’s so like our situation in this world. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” (1st Peter 5:8)
We are on the enemy’s territory, but the Holy One of Israel is always vigilant on our behalf. Sometimes we are hurt, sometimes the attack is allowed. But “There is a Redeemer”, a Savior, and in the end His will is going to conquer all evil and banish all pain. The world and the things of this world are truly fading away. From the signs we see in the world, we know our ultimate rescue is coming fast!
