  6. This is also a great verse as an apologist. If the Papists come and say we need to be literal about eating Christ’s flesh and drinking his blood, then we point them to this earlier part of the same chapter. What do you do when you’re hungry? Eat. Okay, eating his flesh is coming to him, because this is how we avoid hunger. What do you do when you’re thirsty? Drink. Okay, drinking his blood is believing on him, because if you believe on him, you shall never thirst.
