A Psalm of King David
1) Bless the LORD, O my Soul: and all that is within me, Bless HIS HOLY NAME.
2) Bless the LORD, O my Soul, and Forget not all HIS Benefits:
3) Who Forgiveth all thine iniquities; who Healeth all thy diseases;
4) Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with Lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5) Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is Renewed like the Eagle’s.
6) The LORD executeth Righteousness and Judgment for all that are oppressed.
7) HE made known HIS Ways unto Moses, HIS acts unto the Children of Israel.
8) The LORD is Merciful and Gracious, slow to anger, and Plenteous in Mercy.
9) HE will not always Chide ( Scold ): neither will he keep HIS anger for ever.
10) HE hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11) For as the Heaven is High above the Earth, so great is HIS Mercy toward them that fear HIM.
12) As far as the east is from the west, so far hath HE removed our transgressions from us.
13) Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear HIM.
14) For HE knoweth our frame; HE remembereth that we are dust.
15) As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16) For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17) But the mercy of the LORD is from Everlasting to Everlasting upon them that fear HIM, and HIS Righteousness unto children’s children;
18) To such as keep HIS Covenant, and to those that remember HIS Commandments to DO THEM.
19) The LORD hath prepared HIS Throne in the Heavens; and HIS Kingdom Ruleth Over all.
20) Bless the LORD, ye HIS Angels, that excel in strength, that do HIS Commandments, Hearkening unto the Voice of HIS WORD.
21) Bless ye the LORD, all ye HIS hosts; ye ministers of HIS, that do HIS pleasure.

Megan Tibbits has a pure tone inn her singing. That song is very good, very beautiful, and also very bittersweet. It reminds me strongly of this Scripture:
“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” (Isaiah 65:17)
The day is coming when we will leave this world behind so completely that we will forget it. That hurts my soul. I think of all the people I’ve known, friends and family, all the places I’ve been, the things I’ve seen, the triumph that was America at its best, and I grieve to know that one day we won’t even think about it any more.
I think of the buildings, even, that were part of my life, the teachers, professors, pastors, the churches I attended … all gone. Vanished Not even a memor, except for those who were saved. I have a belief that our pets, een our livestock, will be in Heaven. But I think of forgetting this world where we got to know each other a little bit, and forgetting that? I thiink of forgetting the pastor whose Bible teaching brought me to faith in King Jesus – am I going to forget the part he played in my life? I didn’t have enough sense to thank him at the time, and je moved on to another church in a year or two.

But I think it has to be. There has always been so much pain, bitterness, sin, and sorrow mixed with the goodness that it would mar the joy of Heaven to remem ber that part. So help me, Lord, help us all, to let go of this world and in our hearts to already be moving toward Your new Heavens and new earth.

Both works of fiction and revisionist history perceive God like powers awarded and bestowed from undefined Father who bestows magical powers upon his chosen beloved. Both mythical characters of Harry Potter and JeZeus make the ultimate sacrifice and sacrifice their lives as the pathway to achieve ”salvation”. Both fictional narratives fail to define either how the Torah understands the meaning of terms like prophesy and love.
Both narratives create fantastical worlds where mythical beings possess extraordinary powers. In Harry Potter, magic serves as a metaphor for personal growth and moral choices, while in the Gospels, miraculous events are often interpreted as divine intervention. These cultural stories of ancient Hebrews and modern British witch societies, they both reflect cultural narratives that shape our understanding of good and evil, morality, and the human experience, often using fantastical elements to convey deeper emotional belief systems.
