“… because He loved us first.” Imagine going to an orphanage and seeing a bunch of dirty, squalling, ungrateful, noisy, mean brats. And saying, “I’ll take them all!”
That’s what King Jesus did for us. Some of us look pretty good on the outside, but that’s because we grew up in a culture still under the influence of “common grace”, meaning still influenced to some degree by the Judeo-Christian principles the Founders of America built into our nation. But that influence is wearing out now, andmore and ore we see our own true narure when not constrinaed and guided and purified by the presence of the Holy Spirit.
“As the walls of civilization crumbel and fall away,
we see in the darkness beyond what the walls were holding at bay…”
And it’s horrible. Come soon, Lord Jesus!

Heavenly Father, we Gentiles take this opportunity to have the privilege of lifting up to You Your Chosen People, the Jews. THose of us who believe Your written Word know for cetain that You have NOT cast off Israel forever. We see the signs that You are talking to them again. We know that spiritual blindness happened to Israel in part so that we Gentiles could be given the privilege and honor of carrying the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus all around the world. We offer You our thanks for the privilege.
But we Gentiles, as a whole, have abandoned You and turned to our own pleasures, and that became turning to evil. We have had our day. Heavenly Father, we do not know the times of events You have planned. But we pray for Israel this: that their blindness may fall away and they may turn to You and Your Messiah with a changed heart, with sorrow for the losses of two thousand years, but knowing that You love them as You always have and will receive them with open arms the instant they turn to You and accept King Jesus as the messiah.
It appears from Scripture that terrible things must happen to Israel once more before that turning, but I for one beg You, abba, to speed it up. Because we know that their will not be peace, safety, or justice on this earth until King Jesus returns and rules from Jereusalem. May that day come soon.
Confusion to the enemies of Israel and the enemies of righteousness!

WILD TIMES AHEAD: There is a rumor / report that beginning at 11:00am tomorrow, Saturday may 11th, Earth will be hit with six powerful successive solar storms which may cause massive blackouts. Could be rumor designed to scare people (there is money to be made in fear) or could be real and the beginning of massive severe problems. Also chaos in matters of faith: “Prominent Catholics urge bishops and cardinals to declare Pope Francis has “lost the papal office” if he refuses to resign”. Regardless of what one thinks of the Catholic Church ( I consider it a false church) this means a time of confusion and concern for Catholics.
Also: “And both in the USA and Canada, bills are proposed that threaten to make the Bible illegal under the charge of ‘antisemitism.’ ” The charge of antiSemitism against the Bible is possible only because or those who preach “replacement theology”, meaning that because the Jewish leaders in the 1st century had Jesus crucified, Israel no longer has a place in God’s plan. Romans chapter 11 tells us that is false, but the replacement crowd has given anti-Christians an excuse to ban the entire Bible.
Bad times coming soon. BUT! Genuine Christians can look at the nightmares coming to life and still have hope:
“When these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near!” (Luke 21:28)
“For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
