I wan Born with my Sternum Fused too my Back bone, my Birth Defect is called Pectus Excavatum. My Entire Rib cage was rebuilt and I have Stainless Steel wires that hold my rib cage together. In 1965 doctors operated on me and moved my heart and lungs and kidneys too their right places!! I have a Ruptured disk in my Neck at C5-C6, and a very bad Ruptured disk in my Lower back that is pressing on two sides of my spinal cord, with not enough room for the nerves too go through it, and its located at L4-L5!! This is a very inportant phrase which demonstrates God’s grace clearly:
“to the end the promise might be sure to ALL the seed…”
No one has to earn salvation. God has made His promises of sins forgiven, cleansing from all unrighteousness, and a new life in His Kingdom SURE AND CERTAIN for all who come to Him in Jesus’ holy name. We earn rewards, but our salvation is free. That way no one is too weak or poor to be saved. No one is unable to receive God’s gift.
Kristi, you are an amazing example of faith under fire. God will reward you richly for trusting Him instead of becoming bitter. Every ache, every pain, every difficulty, is earning you a greater eternal reward. And for “those who have eyes to see”, you are one of the signposts on the road to Heaven, directing people toward King Jesus and God the Father. All the effort you put inot these beautiful, love-filled posts is not wasted. Not one second of your time, not one drop of perspiration, is wasted. God sees you. He literally feels your weariness and pain. He does not shut Himself off from your suffering.
