“It is impossible to Rightly Govern a Nation without GOD and the HOLY BIBLE.” George Washington was right. We are seeing the negative proof of that as we watch the final stages of America’s destruction.
So mnay people think they’re good, but they reject the sacrifice of Jesus. They don’t consider what God had done for them before thney were even born.
God says, “You need to be born again, and the way to be born again is by faith in My Son. Your heart is so desperately, incurably, wicked that My Son had to live a sinless life as a man so He could die by torture and accept the penalty for your sins.”
When a person says to God, “That wasn’t really necessary. I’m good enough” or if they are defiant, either way, the author of Hebrews says “Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:28-29)
That is a terrible insult to God. It is the equivalent of spiiting in the face of King Jesus. Those who reject Jesus need to understand that, intentionally or not, that is what they have done.
But God forgives even that insult, if tnhat person changes their mind, agrees with God about their sins, and calls on the name of jesus for forgiveness of all their sins. In fact, Jesus said, “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” (Luke 15:7)
God does not want to send anyone to hell, but only the blood of jesus can cleanse us so that God can allow us into His Heaven.
