It is a joy to come here and relax and read God’s Word. The many verses you select, Kristi, always have something important and helpful to say to those in need of God’s love and forgiveness.
“God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.” I get scared sometimes. But thaqt does not change my faith.
The Lord, He is God! He is my God, now and forever. Amen. Selah. Thank you for lifting up His name, Kristi.
Thank You, Abba, for sending your Son to die in our place. To take the punishment that was due to us. Thank You, King Jesus, for staying the course, enduring the slander, the lies, the misrepresentation, and finally the cruel death of the cross. I have no idea how You could do it, and live withouot even one sin all that time. But You are Heaven’s Champion! If not for You, Lord, we would be in eternal despair.
I was doing a word search on Isaiah 53 a couple of days ago. Know that verse that says, “He was bruised for our iniqiuties”? The Hebrew, properly translated, is more like “He was polluted because of our iniquities.” If you think of someone being submerged in the worst physical filth you can imagine, the worst filth of the human mind at its worst, the worst of a billion human minds at their worst, that is what King Jesus was submerged in for us.
There are no words adequate to say thank you for that sacrifice.

Amen! I read in the Bible that the saints will be singing songs of praise to God and King Jesus. I don’t sing that well, so if you hear someone in Heaven just humming along beside you, that’ll be me.
