OVERLAND PARK, Kansas. – Three people are dead following multiple shootings reported at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park and Village!

Police said multiple shots were fired at the center in Overland Park, Kansas., according to NBC Kansas City affiliate KSHB.

There were also reports of a shooting at Village Shalom, a Jewish retirement home nearby in Leawood, Kansas. The home and the center were both on lock down.

A KSHB photographer on the scene spoke with a man who said a gunman aimed at him and shot the windows out of his car. That person was not injured, the station said.

Local KSHB reporter Andres Gutierrez told MSNBC that one person was taken away in the back of a police at a nearby elementary school — and yelled an Anti-Semitic remarks at onlookers. Frazier Glenn Cross, 73, of Aurora, Mo., was arrested Sunday and held on a charge of premeditated first-degree murder. Cross is an alias for Frazier Glenn Miller, the former KKK leader, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
