Kristi, if it hasn’t occurred to you, your blog is one of the rare places where people can still read the most important truths of salvation and hope from the Bible. The Blessed Hope is one of these. It helps those of us who are struggling have strength to keep on, knowing that one day, maybe soon, all our troubles will be over and we will be safe in God’s Kingdom!
“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. That’s the truth. I was talking today to a woman who is in the 2nd Timothy 2:3-4 crowd:
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” Sad to see, but God gave us free will.
It’s sad to see. I and others have witnessed to this woman many times, and she only becomes angry. Bugt she is literally listening to fables. Being lured in to hell.
But as King Jesus said, His words will stand forever, and Scripture cannot be broken:
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
