There has been some pushback against the supporters of hamas and “Palestine”. They started to cause too much turmoil. I pray that not only will more authorities’ backs be strengthened to oppose that evil, but that at least as long as the Lord leaves Christians on this earth, we may be able to support Israel and Jews.

Nothing new. I just suddenly felt a desire to send an email honoring the Man I respect without reservation more than any other man I know. The Rabbi Who got killed saving my life: Joshua be David. Jesus, son of David. And Son of God. This is the sort of thing that makes me love King Jesus:

Remember the Hebrews in Egypt groaning because of how badly they were overworked and mistreated by the Egyptians? People all over this planet are in the same situation now. Leaders of every nation do harm with intent to their citizens.

It’s easy to wonder if praying for America, Israel, and the world does any good. But hear the world of God: excerpts from Exodus 6:
“And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord… And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.”
God was preparing the Hebrews to become the nation of Israel. And now He is preparing believers in Jesus for Exodus 2. We cal it the Rapture:
“st John 3:3: “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he [Jesus] is pure.” We are challenged every day to compromise. Instead, let’s first, stay pure, second, if we fall, immediately turn to God in repentance, asking forgiveness, accepting forgiveness, and getting back into the spiritual battle.
And third, let’s do what the Hebrews did and groan. But for us, groan specifically to God, because …
“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. for we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:14-16)
We should start all our prayers with fervent thanks for the good things God has gien us and done for us. That is important. But then we present our petitions to Him. And why only for ourselves? I suggest that we pray for the world. For our non-Christian neighbors, for our politicians, for the unborn babies who are slaughtered every day around the world thanks in part to American politicians sending funds to other nations to abort their children and protecting abortion here, pray for every victim of crime and corruption and evil of every kind. COMPLAIN (with respect and reverence TO the Lord ABOUT evil and the ones who carry it out.
WHY?
Because one element in the timing of the Exodus was that God heard the complaints of the Hebrews. Because one element in the fire-bombing of sodom and gomorrah was…
“And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.” (Genesis 18:20-21)
And because… “And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.” (Revelation 8:3)
In some way I don’t understand, our prayers not only are heard by God, but have an effect on what happens on Earth, or at least when God acts. SO when yu read news of evil being done and eicl increasing and humans devastated by evil actions of evil peopl, TAKE IT TO THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL! He hears, and our prayers have an effect! So pray for His Kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven, and in your prayers point out the increase of evil and ask the All-Powerful One to bring an end to evil!
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.” (James 5:16-17)
