A prayer for Israel:
GHeavenly Father, Your Chosen People Israel have suffered a horrible blow from evil men and the evil beings that drive those evil men. Israel’s govenrment and military are now doing what they have to do to secure their nation, so that it may not be wiped off the earth. We thank You first of all, for Your Chosen People who HAVE blessed all nations of earth in the human material sense, and in the spiritual sense, in that from Israel came the Messiah, the Savior, the Redeemer not only of Israel, but of all people everywhere who trust in Jesus’ name for salvation and the forgiveness of their sins.
Now Your people are fighting for the survival of their nation. We beg You in Jesus holy name to help them!
We know, Abba, that they face another danger that most of them don’t believe in: a flase Messiah, who will come to them as a peacemaker, who will promise them peace and safety, but will soon turn on them and show himself in the rebuilt Temple claimiong that he is You. We know, Abba, that only a remnant of israel will be saved. Thet rest, like almost all of the Gentile world, have swallowed the devl’s lies and will follow the devil to condemnation. We know that can’t be changed without You violating human will, which You do not do.
So we do not pray for every soul in Israel. But we do fervently pray that You will pour out Your spirit in Israel on Israelis so powerfully and massively that the entire world will be in awe of You. We pray earnestly that You will give protection and success to those in Israel who are trying hard to be witnesses to King Jesus for the Jewish people. We pray that Your Word will bypass all barriers to reach every open heart in Israel, and we pray there may be many opne hearts among Your people.
We pray, Abba, thatg You will plant seeds in the hearts of many Jews who now say no to You, so that when the prophecies of the Tome of Jacob’s Trouble become plain to them they may remember and realize that You sent Your Messiah once, and when they turn to You ikn repentance and request it, You will once again send the King of Israel to earth, this time to rule from Jerusalem and bring justice and peace forevermore to israel and the world!
All these things we ask humbly but fervently in Jesus holy name. Amen.
