Amen. I chose and choose King Jesus and God the Father. Thank you, Kristi Ann, for the chance to go on record. (Again.)
There’s an old hymn which says, “I have decided to follow Jesus; no turning back … if no one joins me, I still will follow; no turning back, no turning back…”
Following Jesus can be a lonely road sometimes. Sometimes family and friends turn their back on us, but we still must follow Jesus. But one day, I hope soon, King Jesus will return for us, if we do not pass from this world by death before that. When we leave this life, we won’t be lonely any longer. There will be “a great multitude, whom no one can number” of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
And when out time on earth is done …
“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.’
Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful!’ ” (Revelation 21:1-5)

I love those words. I love that title, “Holy One”.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking our sins on Yourself, doing what we never could have done, sacrificing Yourself in our place.
