Good evening, Kristi Ann.
There is so much wonderful Bible text in one of your posts that it could supply a good pastor with sermons for a year. Visitors, read with care. What’s posted here is the truth.
” “Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other Name under Heaven given among men ( or anyone ), whereby we must be SAVED.”!! That’s the truth that every human soul will one day know for certain. If we learn that before we die and receive King Jesus as our Savior and Lord, we will enter Heaven knowing this and having been rescued from the only other alternative destiny.
Just as there is only one way to Heaven, through faith in Jesus, there is only one other destiny for all humans. It’s called “hell” and described as a “lake of fire”.
In order to understand why God is apparently so harsh about sin, even the “little” sins, all we have to do us look at our world now. We are seeing the results of human nature when the mass of humans does not accept King Jesus as Lord and Savior. For those who haven’t studied the Bible, there are three facts about sin that explain God’s attitude:
1. Sin always grows.
2. Sin always damages.
3. Unchecked, sin always eventually results in death.
“The WAGES [what is earned] of sin is death, but the GIFT [something given freely; is not earned] of God is eternal life.”
God loves His entire Creation – humans, animals, plants, insects, the earth itself. Therefore He has set a day when He will no longer allow sinful people to run loose in His Creation damaging it.
We can not stop sinning. We can not “pay for” the damage we have already done. We have an incurable disease which we chose to have called sin. But! If we agree with God that we are sinners, that we damage His Creation, including ourselves, LOOK what God is willing to do for us!
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” (1st John 1:8-10)
Until the day we die, we have choice. “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” (Hebrews 9:27-28)
Eternal joy in Paradise, or eternal pain and bitter regret in the Lake of Fire. This should not be a difficult choice to make.
God loves you, whoever you are, whatever you have done. But you must accept His judgment of your sins and trust His sacrifice for those sins:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)
Jesus came to earth on the most massive, most critical rescue mission in the history of the Universe. He is still holding out His hands to you to rescue you. Will you accept His help?
Jesus is speaking here: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” (Revelation 3:20)

That’s the Holy Spirit speaking through John. (2 Peter 1:21) What the Spirit says here is that we give God joy – by walking in Truth. We can give, essentially, God a “Christmas present” by walking in the truth. 🙂 🙂 🙂
