The LORD is at Hand!!

    I Thessalonians 5:2 “For yourselves know Perfectly that the Day of the LORD so cometh as a thief in the night.” For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with child and they shall not escape.

    BUT YE BRETHREN ARE NOT IN DARKNESS THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE YOU AS A THIEF. YE ARE ALL THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT AND THE CHILDREN OF THE DAY WE ARE WE ARE NOT OF THE NIGHT NOR OF THE DARKNESS. THEREFORE LET US NOT SLEEP AS OTHERS BUT LET US WATCH AND BE SOBER. KJV

    That’s a good motto for life. The word tramslated “moderation” is also translated “gentleness”. Either way, it’s good for everyone. Gentleness toward others, even (most of the time) toward those who oppose the Gospel. And we’ve all seen the macho man who has to drink more, party wilder, never back down from fights, etc. All of us need to act in moderation, and our lives will be much less stressful.

    God’s Word is beneficial !
