Choices will be made in the next few years that determine the fate of many souls, and the rewards they have in Heaven or punishments in hell. These choices are not up to the powerful people or the governments of the world. The choices are for each man, woman and child to make for themselves.
Will people accept and be witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the forgiveness of sins by faith alone in Christ alone, made possible by His sacrifice of Himself on the cross?
Will we acknowledge that the Jews are God’s Chosen People? The Jews still have the most important part to play in all of human history, because they are the only people on earth who have the responsibility and the authority to identify and proclaim the Messiah, who is Jesus. He will not return until Israel turns to the Most High in repentance and calls on Him to forgive their rejection of the Messiah and send Messiah Jesus back to be their King (Matthew 23:39) and the King of the whole world:
“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: ‘For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.’
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” (Romans 11:25-29)
He is not their Savior only, but the Savior of everyone who will receive Him as Lord and Savior:
“He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name, which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:11-14)

I was talking with a friend a couple of days ago, and he wondered what he was doing still on this earth. (In 2024) The world around us is so totally taken over by evil, and worse is yet to come.
I told him I had wondered the same thing myself, and the only answer I had ever gotten was,
“BECAUSE UNTIL I [Jesus] RETURN, YOU ARE THE SLAT AND THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD!” (Mark 9:50, Colossians 4:6, Matthew 5:14, John 9:5, Philippians 2:15)
There’s another reason too: We’re not through with the “graduate course” in Christian faith that God is putting us through. We “graduate” when we leave this world. Hopefully then we will have grown and matured enough in faith, and ACTED in faith, walked in the Holy Spirit and produced the fruit of the Spirit, enough so that we may hear, :Well done, good and faithful servant!” from King Jesus.
God does not have “all-winners” courses. We either earn rewards or we will be ashamed of ourselves. The power to earn rewards comes from God. The WILL to earn those rewards is OURS. We have to make the effort to work with the Holy Spirit to let Him change us into “the image of Christ”.
