I am also a member of Christians United for Israel, and I appreciate your loving expression and Support for our Jewish Messiah, and His physical brothers and sisters, the Jewish people; I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour in late December of 2008. After my Dad’s passing in October of 2010, I learned that I had Jewish heritage on my father’s side through one of his cousins.
I later had an My DNA Test as well as another more expensive DNA testing done through Family Tree DNA, which appears to be telling me that I have multiple matches in the Jewish heritage on my mother’s side also!! This is very exciting for me as God really created a great Love for His chosen people, while not even knowing that I was Jewish. My mother grew up in a very spiritually dark and “blinded” church, devoid of the Truth and devoid of the Love and Mercy of our God. She was taught to hate certain people groups; Blacks, Observant Jews, and others that didn’t measure up to certain physical and/or mental requirements. She was raised in a Old school Roman Catholic Church and school. My father never converted to Roman Catholicism, but he went along with my very dominating mother’s religion just to avoid confrontation with her and her father. Their marriage was a shot-gun wedding because my mother got pregnant with me back in 1957, and my devout Roman Catholic grandfather was desperate to repair his daughter’s reputation!!!
My mother was the only female student in the Engineering Program at Michigan State University back in those days. She wanted a career in Engineering, not to be saddled with a baby. If abortion had been legal then, I probably would not be here to post this message, but God had a Plan and a Purpose for my life and also for your ‘s, AMEN!!!! I was blessed to go to Israel in June 2012. I want to be back in Yerushala’im!! (Jerusalem) Psalm 122: Dr6a Sha Alu Shalom Yerushala’im: Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. Today! Thank you! May you Rejoice in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach; (Jesus Christ) our Lord!!!

In 1965 doctors operated on me and moved my heart and lungs and kidneys too their right places!! I have a Ruptured disk in my Neck at C5-C6, and a very bad Ruptured disk in my Lower back that is pressing on two sides of my spinal cord, with not enough room for the nerves too go through it, and its located at L4-L5!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 I’m smiling all over as I type this, Kristi. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you comment on God’s command to children about their parents. It applies to grown-up children too, as Jesus’ statement about gifts to parents makes clear. He was talking about adults who used God as an excuse not to take care of their parents. I’m glad you posted this!

Those who don’t take care of their parents are not sdoiong right. One of the best examples of a parent-child relationship is that of Ruth and Naomi, and Ruth was just a daughter-in-law! Another example was when Jesus, dying on the cross did this: ################ Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.” (John 19:25-28)############## The point is not only that jesus took care of His mother, it is that while He was dying in agony He took care of His mother. He shoved His pain down long enough to fulfill His last duty to her. And the last of those verses says, “knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled…” Awesome! His mission on earth was not fulfilled until He had taken care of His mother’s future! For this and a thousand other reasons, “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever!” (Revelation 5:11-13) HOSANNA!
