    I’ve been reading some political and financial wizards predictions for the near future> all bad, terrible, gloomy, unhappy, and apocalyptic. The Blessed Hope, on the other hand, shines brighter by the hout!

    “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 24:44)

      Israel is going to go through terror and horror because they are not turning to the Most High in repentance for their sins, and are depending on their own strength and wisdom. There will be another holocaust, this time right in Israel. (Zechariah 14)

      That’s what it will take for a remnant to turn to the Messiah.

      When the Pharisees responded with scorn and disbelief to Jesus’ claim to be the Son of God, He replied, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” (John 5:39)

      On one of the occasions when Jesus appeared to His disciples after His resurrection, “he said unto them, ‘These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.’ Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,” (Luke 24:44-45)

      The Scriptures spoken of in thooe verses was of course what we call the Old Testament. But Jesus is there in the Old Testament. Israel’s Messiah. The world’s Savior. When the blindness falls from Israel’s eyes, they will see Hikm there as well as in the Hew Testament. May God speed the coming opf that day!

    • “As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. ” (Romans 9:33)

      “For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10:11)

      You will certainly not be ashamed in God’s Kingdom, Kristi. Not only do you constantly hold up the name of Jesus to the world, your faith in spite of extreme hardship is remarkable. Also, you are one of those described here, as are all believers since about the 2nd century B.C.:

      “And Thomas answered and said unto him, ‘My Lord and my God!’

      Jesus saith unto him, ‘Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.’ ” (John 20:28-29))

      We weren’t around either to see King Jesus Himself or to see the miracles the apostles did in His name. But the testimony they left has been used by the Holy Spirit in the lives of all born-again believers in Jesus to bring us to faith in Jesus. We have this privilege and blessing, that without seeing, we believed! Thank You, King Jesusr, for acknowledging and blessing our faith in You! May we be faithful witnesses until You return!

      God instituted the death penalty for murder. If we follow God’s instructions, other evil people might do the same thing, but so far, in all history, no killer has ever returned from the grave to kill again.

      This person has to be insane. Criminally insane. There is no reasoning with such. Their minds have died. Sucj people will be lethal as long as they live.
