In 1965 doctors operated on me and moved my heart and lungs and kidneys too their right places!! I have a Ruptured disk in my Neck at C5-C6, and a very bad Ruptured disk in my Lower back that is pressing on two sides of my spinal cord, with not enough room for the nerves too go through it, and its located at L4-L5!!   3. Kristi, you always seem to find not only good songs, but the versions of those songs that have spectacular, beautiful graphics! Thank you! The impact of the songs seems to me to be multiplied by the beauty and majesty of the graphics. Thank you for making the extra effort to do that.

    “For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of Adoption, whereby We Cry, ABBA, FATHER.” (Romans 8:15) If we’re not familiar with Judaism, we might not realize what a powerful feeling of freedom that verse gave to the Roman believers Paul was writing to.

    The word “fear” is not spoken in jest. Remember that there were harsh penalties for breaking some of God’s laws and even some of the Pharisees’ “add-ons”. Remember that before the cross, the Jews were afraid of the WRATH of God. Only when God poured out His wrath against sin on Jesus on the cross did the FEAR of the wrath of God end.

    It’s true that if we make mistakes or sin, God will correct us. If we persist in sin, He may have to discipline us. But His wrath, for Christians, ended at the cross!

    Judaism had a lot of extremely strict rules, some from God, some created by the nit-picking bureaucratic minds of the priests, the scribes and Pharisees. Jesus described their “contribution” when He told the crowds, “For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” (Matthew 23:4)

    Peter referred to these laws and pseudo-laws as “a yoke upon the neck … which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear”. (Acts 15:10) All of that we have been freed from. YES, we are supposed to obey God’s commands and those of King Jesus. We are supposed to live holy lives. But we don’t need to FEAR God any more!

    THANK YOU, LORD JESUS, FOR TAKING GOD’S WRATH FOR SINS ON YOURSELF AND FREEING US FROM FEAR!
