I wan Born with my Sternum Fused too my Back bone, my Birth Defect is called Pectus Excavatum. My Entire Rib cage was rebuilt and I have Stainless Steel wires that hold my rib cage together. In 1965 doctors operated on me and moved my heart and lungs and kidneys too their right places!! I have a Ruptured disk in my Neck at C5-C6, and a very bad Ruptured disk in my Lower back that is pressing on two sides of my spinal cord, with not enough room for the nerves too go through it, and its located at L4-L5!! It looks like Jerusalem’s peace is always on a razor edge. There are always rockets and drones flying into Israel. Always terrorist attacks. Always anti-Semite protests. God speed the day when Jerusalem is truly at peace. That day will only come when King Jesus is ruling the world from Jerusalem. So that’s one way of praying for the peace of jerusalem: pray for the return of Israel’s King!

I’ll also still pray that until He does return, Jerusalem may be at peace.

I encourage everyone to go to the full comment, the original post, and listen to the songs. “Shema Israel” reminds me so strongly of patriotic songs I’ve heard of several other nations. The longings of the human heart are heard in several such songs. The difference is that Israel has a Redeemer and a King Who will fulfill all those longings for those who trust Him.

It is incredible that through Abraham, all the families of the world have been blessed. From Israel the Messiah came, and those who care to check will see that many more Nobel peace prizes in the fields of medicine and science have been awarded to Israel than to any other nation on earth. Also Israel’s military, when it is humanly possilbe, has treated even Israel’s enemies with humanity and compassion more than any other nation.

Israel has earned the respect and gratitude of the world.
