Yes very True Kristi Ann, Jesus is the Living Word and He is our only Spiritual Teacher, He has written His Truth on our Hearts and when we hear His Truth in Scripture including the ones you share because we are in Him we recognize it as Truth but sadly many don’t because they still depend on their own reasoning, Logic, fleshy wisdom and understanding instead of asking for God’s Wisdom and Empowering through The Holy Spirit.
The Pharisees also diligently studied the Scriptures but rejected Jesus who they spoke of, sadly it’s the same with some today instead of asking for God’s Wisdom they go to their books or teachers, collages etc trusting in their worldly wisdom instead of God’s.
John 5: 39 – 40…… Search the Scriptures for in them ye think ye have Eternal Life and they are they which testify of Me. And ye will not come to Me that ye might have Life.KJV
