Thank you, Kristi. This is very helpful to me right now. I’m anticipating a serious problem. In years past I’d have assessed my options and acted, but this time there seems to be no option. I discussed this with Christian friends and two of them advised me to “wait on the Lord”. I’m doing that, but I’m not used to “doing nothing”, and it feels like wasting time I should be using to try to avoid the problem.
Today I got automatic noptification of this post and when I looed at the graphic “Bible Emergency Numbers”, the first one that caught my eye was “Don’t understand what God is doing? Isaiah 55:8-9”: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Thank you, Kristi. This encourages me greatly! The problem is still there, of course, but this is the 3rd time in the last week I have encountrered an encouraging Scripture at a moment when I was very concerned with my situtation. It will be interesting to see what God is about to do!

Heavenly Father, I am convinced that President Donald Trump loves our nation and has done America good to the best of his ability. To that extent, Lord, he is similar to the Roman centurion for whom Jesus healed a dying servant. As a Christian who also loves America, I ask You therefore to send Donald Trump a faithful witness who can speak to him personally and explain to him the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, President Trump is surrounded by religious persons whose motives I am highly suspicious of. Also, his “faith advisor” is a phony Christian who has called Jesus, Your only begotten Son, a liar, twice within a couple minutes, under prompting from another false Christian.
So I ask You, Heavenly Father, because of the good that Donald Trump has done for America, in spite of his sins and failings, to give him the Gospel clearly and simply, through a faithful witness of Yours, preventing any interference or distorting of the simple Gospel of salvation by faith alone in Jesus Christ only. Donald Trump may not be as righteous as the Roman centurion, but King Jesus granted the centurion’s request at the request of Jews, who at that time were Your only authorized representatives. Until King Jesus accomplished His sacrifice for the sins of the world, it was only through Jews that a Gentile could approach You. Now Gentiles believers in Jesus have the honor, privilege, and responsibility of interceding for those who are not yet born again believers in Jesus. Therefore I, being a born-again believer in Jesus, lift up to Your Throne America’s President, Donald Trump. I ask this in the holy name of Jesus, as one who was also not deserving of Your salvation. on whom also You had mercy. Amen.
“The Last Crusade” some called I … WW2 preventing the takeover of Europe by the nazi regime. May God give rest and peace to those who fought in WW2. They are almost all gone from us now. Even my heneration, the Vietnam Generation is old.
May all who contemplate these sacrifices honor thoe who fought, no matter what role they played. And may all who read these words remember that there is another life beyond this life, and the war for that life has already been fought. All casualties who fought the fight of faith on the side of our Lord and Savior jesus Christ are guaranteed eternal life of unmarred joy.in God’s eternal Kingdom.
But the :fight of faith” is different from this world’s warfare: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
