    There was a day when I was a child that I stopped playing and looked up at the sky. It was the kind of day that Tourism Bureaus pray for! The sun was shining, the sky was a perfect robin’s-egg blue, fluffy white clouds floated slowly by … and even as a child, only about 5 years old, I felt a strong surge of joy at that beauty!

    There came another day, decades later, when I was hurting spiritually and emotionally. Nothing seemed right in my world. And I happened to look up and see the same sky and clouds …. the beauty of the scene again made me feel a surge of joy, but more importantly, I had the first of many thoughts that brought me out of that dark valley, and it was this:

    “God is still there. He’s still the same, just like the sky He created and the clouds He set to play in it!”

    That’s not what you’d call sophisticated theology, but it was enough. When you’re hanging by your fingernails on a sheer cliff, you only need a small fissure to get your fingers into, to make it easier to hang on.

    “( Jesus-Yeshua Christ-Messiah ) the Same Yesterday, and To day, and For Ever.” That, friends, is far more than a small fissure. It’s a whole wide ledge to help you stabilize, calm down, relax, breathe deeply. Our God does not change. He will not speak to you like a loving Father one day and the next tell you to go away, you’re bothering Him. He is always there, and you are always welcome to talk to Him. King Jesus and God the Father are one, Jesus said. That means they are both like this. You can depend on them.

    If anyone reading this is not yet a believer in Jesus, don’t let anything stop you from getting a copy of the New Testament and reading about Jesus! He was AND IS amzing! He’s the kind of man you’d want for a neighbor. He’s the kind of man you could trust to babysit your children.

    He’s the kind of Man Who is more than a Man, Who being without sin, chose to die in your place. He did that for YOU! And three days later God the Father raised Himn from the dead! And there were at least hundreds of witnesses who knew Him well enough that they told people He had risen from the sdead, even though that meant exile or death for them.

    He did that for YOU! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

    I wan Born with my Sternum Fused too my Back bone, my Birth Defect is called Pectus Excavatum. My Entire Rib cage was rebuilt and I have Stainless Steel wires that hold my rib cage together. In 1965 doctors operated on me and moved my heart and lungs and kidneys too their right places!! I have a Ruptured disk in my Neck at C5-C6, and a very bad Ruptured disk in my Lower back that is pressing on two sides of my spinal cord, with not enough room for the nerves too go through it, and its located at L4-L5!!
