Wow! This is a spectacular Flag Day post! Thank you, Kristi! And well said, all of it!
I like the three pledges side by side. There was a Christian hymn called “I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb”, by Ray Boltz:
Not a happy thought, but better the truth and the resurrection than comfort now and hell forever.
American Christians have had privileges and protection that Christians in other times and places would be shocked by, never dreaming that life could be so easy this side of Heaven. It may bve our time to stand for the faith now. We are not alone. King Jesus is with us, always, even to the end of the world. And there is a great cloud of witnesses, the Scripture says, surrounding us. Heaven;y Father, if You are going to put us in a place of suffering, help us to carry the torch of faith in Jesus high until we leave this life. You blessed America beyond all nations on earth, Abba. May it be our part, in any condition, to bless Your name and the name of King Jesus in front of those who will listen.
ThankYou, Heavenly Father, for this wonderful nation called America, such a wonderful place that we think we have a little idea of what Your Kingdom is like. We know that it never would have happened without Your assistance, protection, and approval.

You are approved, Kristi. By God the Father, King Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit. Also by many other Christians. Me for one.
There’s a sentence I love in the scene from The Chosen, where King Jesus speaks to the Samaritan woman at the well. She says, “I am rejected by others.”
Jesus replies, “But not by the Messiah.”

Kristi, I tried to open the other three articles lined at the bottom of this one, but none of them would open. That’s not a tragedy in itself. I just wanted to make you aware of it. Also, when I select a month from the dropdown menu on the right under “Kristi Ann’s Haven Posts” I invariably get “this site cannot be reached”. “Search Kristi Ann’s Haven still works.
