Kristi, that is the most beautiful Mother’s Day Graphic I can recall having seen!
Mothers, you are fulfilling what may be the most important job in the world by having children and trying to raise them well, trying to prepare them for adult life, trying to teach them what you have learned at sometimes great cost. Without mothers, there would be no human race. No doctors, architects, pilots, marine biologists, statesmen, warriors, farmers … all of these, mothers, by God’s grace, came from your bodies and your willingness to endure discomfort and pain and danger. Thank you, Mothers! May God bless you richly!
There are mothers whose children do not “rise up and call them blessed”. Those children are derelict n their duty to the one person. But, Mothers, God sees. He blesses you! He will reward your efforts, no matter what your children do.
I’ve noticed that many women feel guilt on many occasions when they have no guilt. Mothers, I assure you, if you have done your best to raise your children right and they have ignored you, gone down the wrong road, even, God forbid, been contemptuous of the woman who gave them life – these things are not your fault, Mothers. Every human being is answerable to Go for their own choices. If you did your best for your children, you did not fail, Mothers.
Isaiah recorded a prophecy which every CHILDLESS woman should read and REJOICE over. I’ve paraphrased it here, from tent living to house living, but you will find the meaning is unchanged:
“Sing, barren woman, you who never bore a child! Burst into song, shout for joy,
you who were never in labor, because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband,” says the Lord. “Enlarge your residence! Stretch your curtains wide! Do not hold bac! Lengthen your property line; strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.”
If you wonder how that could be true, ask yourself this: all the millions of aborted babies – according to 2nd Samuel 12:22-23, I am confident they all went to Heaven, having no sin.
They have also never had a mother. I will bet you everything I own that when childless women get to Heaven, they will find those children waiting, wanting a mother. Wanting the mother’s love that they never had the chance for. I will bet you everything I own that God has told them you are coming. 🙂 🙂 🙂 You will have children, Lady.
