Matthew 16:26 – the profit-and-Loss Statement in the Bible! I wonder how many accountants know about it. Thank you, Krisits. This post is perfect for our time, when all money is about to fail.
There used to be a saying about money among Christians – “You can’t take it with you, but you can send it on ahead.” Meaning that whatever money people spend on helping people in Jesus’ name, or giving to groups that use it to send the Bible or missionaries to those who odn’t know God’s Word – all those kinds of thing are investments in God’s Kingdom and will ear an eternal reward and will give the Holy Spirit something to use to draw people to saving faith in King Jesus.
THAT ALSO APPLIES to time and effort. Like the time and effort you keep putting into this site, Kristi. You will be shocked at the loudness and enthusiasm of the applause of angels that will greet you when you pass into God’s Kingdom. God’s Holy Angels are cheering you on! And it should cheer the hearts of believers even in this life to see your love for God the Father and King Jesus!
