  1. You rock, Kristi Ann. The fact that your name is on the Roll and your feet are on the Rock may have something to do with that, LOL!

I like that old hymn, “Glorify Thy Name”. I’s what His children want to do.

“Glorifying His name is a privilege and a pleasure. We can do this in many ways. We can live righteous, holy lives as much as possible. When we sin, we can turn back to Him and ask His forgiveness, and ask for strength to resist temptations in the future.

We can tell our neighbors, co-workers, the service people who work on our appliances and computers, our neighbors, and strangers we speak to in the course of a day whatever words God gives us to open a conversation about King Jesus and salvation through faith in Him.

We can pray every day. Prayer can be fellowship with God, it can be thanking Him for the many blessings He gives us. It can be telling Him what wonder, beauty, and joy we find in observing His incredible Creation!

We can glorify God by trusting Him in terrible pains and griefs and in situations where we have no idea at all what He’s doing or why.

We can be the voice of His children lifting up His voice in praise, with thankful hearts, wherever we are, whatever is our experience at the moment. That can be so hard! We need to remember Job, who in his darkest hour, without having been given an explanation for the death and loss and pain and misery he was suffering, yet said, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him!”

    Amen, brother Job.
