My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of His correction: For whom the LORD loveth He correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth!!

  1. Perfect post for me to read tonight!! My son is in his first year of taking a college course; he is a junior in high school. It’s been a struggle for him to grasp all the realities of “college” compared to “high school”, but he’s learning!! We just had to have one of those “talks” to get back on track, and it really, really hurts to be stern with an only child who is greatly loved! Running this Scripture over and over, has helped as we have had the “talk” 🙂 He is taking his discipline well, and completing that due assignment as I type!! Thank You Jesus, for Kristi Ann’s lovely encouragement in Your Word!! blessings and Shalom 🙂 denise
