Please Pray for Pastor Saeed!!

( II Chronicles 7:14 KJV ) “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”!!

In 2012, Pastor Saeed Abedini, an American, was arrested and sentenced to eight years in an Iranian prison because of his Christian faith. His wife, Naghmeh, tells OneNewsNow says her husband could be released if he’d deny Jesus Christ, something he won’t do.

“Saeed is standing up for his faith,” she says. “He refuses to deny his faith regardless of the tortures. He’s been in and out of solitary, the beatings…and our government needs to stand up for him during this very difficult time.”

Saeed Abedini and his wife converted to Christianity from Islam and immigrated to the United States. Since then, he had made frequent trips to his homeland to visit with family who are also Christian converts.

Appeals by members of Congress to the Iranian government have been ignored. Saeed is an American and deserves to be freed and allowed to return home to the United States.

Sadly, Barack Hussein Obama has been relatively quiet when it comes to religious persecution against Christians, but recently fought hard for a Muslim prisoner.

Barack Hussein Obama made an extensive effort to free Egyptian-American Mohamed Soltan, who was released from an Egyptian prison last month where he had been sentenced to life for accusations of affiliation with the radical Islamic terrorist group, the Muslim Brotherhood.

I really like Franklin’s appeal to Barack Hussein Obama: “Soltan worked on your campaign and his father was a prominent member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Mr. President, I hope you’ll do the same to help Saeed Abedini-who is guilty of nothing, was sentenced to 8-years in prison, and whose only affiliation is with the Lord Jesus Christ.’
