“The Lord is my shepherd…” David was a shepherd. He knew what it meant to defend the sheep. When David said the Lord was His shepherd, he was saying that he trusted God completely, with absolute confidence. David learned through many dangers and hardships that he cold trust God.
So can we!

It’s easy to trust when the road is smooth and the sun is shining. But when life is a gritty mess, “when pain is all around”, and the road is nearly impassable, those who trust THEN are a strong witness to the world, a lighthouse leading to the salvation of God through faith in Jesus, and they bring joy to the heart of God.
