Pastors, elders, and deacons who are first dedicated to God and His Word, then to their congregations, are far too rare these days. Those who are faithful in such work will receive a lot of trouble and stress ikn this life, but a huge reward in Heaven.
The flock analogy is a perfect one. Church leaders are very much leading their congregations. Hopefully in the roght direction. Thank You, Kristi, for the reminder.
